- Dimension or drawing — a 2D/3D drawing is best; include tolerances
- Magnetization direction — axial, diametrical, radial or multi-pole
- Coating — Ni-Cu-Ni, zinc, epoxy, Parylene, or none
- Quantity & target price — volume strongly affects unit price
- Application — motor, sensor, speaker, holding… so we can verify the grade fits
